1st note

As long as we continue to see ourselves as separate from everything else we will continue to lend ourselves as eternal slaves thus never tasting the sweetness of life and fully realizing optimal human potential. All human beings are beautiful, powerful and extraordinary.

In our culture we’ve been trained for individual differences to stand out so when we encounter any human being we notice if their darker, fatter, older, poorer and so forth. Subsequently, we make all these dimensional distinctions and we put people into categories. One of the most dramatic characteristics of experience is being with a person and suddenly realizing the ways in which they are like you and not different from you. It dawns upon you that, that which is the essence in you is no different from the next person. For example, you were not born John Smith. You were born as a human being and as you develop you learn who you are supposed to be and what is expected of you, whether you’re bad or good as well as your social status.

Most of the time, loyalty to culture and societal norms is a reflection of how far we are prepared to go in our desperate quest to earn society’s approval. It is important that we all begin some introspection and embark on a journey of self discovery in order to unleash our unspeakable strength, compassion and intelligence. Circumstances can never impede your ambitions once you have made up your mind.

When you venture out into the world, try to always make a difference by touching people’s lives with goodness and courtesy. Make others feel comfortable and smile. It will only multiply and come back to you. Most importantly, remain positive and only seek the good even in the face of the most horrific prospects. You will be astounded when you discover that happiness; success, freedom and all humanity’s common aspirations can be achieved by merely applying the right kind of thinking process even in the most seemingly mundane of your daily activities.

Have an extrodinary 2009
